The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Level Program consists
of six (6) levels. The CORE of the recovery program is the levels
component. This element provides a progressive series of stages
for the resident’s recovery
.
Each level presents the resident with
specific purposes and goals. The responsibilities and privileges
of each level increase as the resident progresses through the program.
The
stages range from “Level 1” - restriction to the Center grounds with no
phone or visitation privileges - to “Level 6” - entry into the Captain’s
club - with increasing freedom regarding leaving the center grounds, and
overnight and weekend passes.
Written work, interviews,
recovery meeting attendance, and religious services attendance are required
throughout the levels.
The rate at which the resident progresses through each level is
determined by three factors:
Specific time periods for each level
Meeting of requirements for each level
Level of motivation of the resident to work on his recovery needs.
