WHO are the centers for?

The ADULT REHABILITATION CENTERS are open to ALL MEN AND WOMEN with a treatable handicap, regardless of the RACE, COLOR or their RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.  They are PEOPLE from ALL WALKS OF LIFE, with different BACKGROUNDS, different PROBLEMS and ABILITIES.

They are  treated as human beings worthy of dignity and respect.

The centers are for persons

 who are …

… HOMELESS

… DIVORCED

… SEPARATED

… in TROUBLE WITH THE LAW

… in NEED OF TRAINING

… in NEED OF OUR SERVICE

Who have …

… a DRINKING PROBLEM

… a DRUG PROBLEM

… an EMOTIONAL PROBLEM

After thorough testing and examination, those who have problems not considered treatable at the centers may be referred to other social service agencies, hospitals, etc.

What are the SUCCESS ratios?

Success doesn't happen overnight, but with God's help, most men and women DO SUCCEED!  In the follow-up period, which is about 6 months after "graduation" from a center …

… 57% DRINK LESS

… 50% HAVE GOOD JOBS, with almost double previous earnings.

… 25% show TOTAL SOBRIETY, good social adjustment, and steady employment.

How are persons involved in the PROGRAM
and their own PROGRESS?

They PARTICIPATE in physical, psychiatric and social rehabilitation programs.

They CONTRIBUTE by working as assigned, based upon individual needs, abilities, and desires.

They COOPERATE in making the center a place of fellowship and achievement.

They STAY long enough for the program to help them, although residents are free to leave at any time.
